Refurbishment and Equipment Finance
Overview
Whether purchasing equipment for your Pharmacy, such as Computer Systems or a Vehicle, or whether completing a Pharmacy Refurbishment, there are a number of financing options available. You should always consult a Professional Advisor as to identifying the option that best suits your needs before proceeding. Through formal agreements with major Australian financial institutions, your Sigma Representative can provide access to competitive finance packages.

The following are the main Refurbishment and Equipment Finance options available:
Hire Purchase
An arrangement where the purchaser hires equipment over an agreed term. On making the final payment, the ownership of the equipment is automatically transferred to the purchaser.
Lease
Essentially 100% finance, where the purchaser obtains the benefit of hiring equipment for their Business. At the end of the agreed term the equipment is either purchased or returned to the financier (who owns the equipment).
Chattel Mortgage
Differs from a Hire Purchase and Lease in that you own the equipment and the financier takes a charge or mortgage over the equipment.
Rental
Depending on the equipment, you can enter a rental agreement for the goods. At the end of the term you can arrange to continue renting or return the goods.
Business Loan
A facility where you offer a mortgage over the Pharmacy, or Residential Security, to fund the equipment purchase. You own the equipment, with the financier having no interest in the actual equipment.
