Robert Ellis, General Manager Business Development.
Robert rejoined Sigma in April 2007 having previously worked with Sigma from 1990 to 1997. Robert has a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in various roles spanning technical operations, R&D and business development. Robert is currently responsible for the ongoing expansion of our pharmaceutical product portfolio.
Ian Finlay, General Manager Operations
Ian commenced with Sigma in January 2009. Ian has extensive experience working within the pharmaceutical industry for many years, holding senior executive positions in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain in the UK, USA and Australia. His most recent role was Global Vice President Contract Manufacturing with GSK. Ian is responsible for Sigma’s manufacturing and associated supply chain activities.
Sue Morgan-Dethick, General Counsel and Company Secretary
Sue commenced with Sigma in 2007 as Corporate Lawyer and moved into the position of General Counsel in early 2008. Sue was appointed Company Secretary in August 2009 in addition to her General Counsel role. Prior to commencing with Sigma, Sue spent 8 years with HGR Lawyers. Sue was Special Counsel at HGR, specialising in Media and Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property and Commercial Law. Prior to this, Sue worked in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation - Legal and Copyright Department.
Keith Jeffs, General Manager Orphan Australia
Keith rejoined Sigma in April 2009 having previously worked for Sigma in 1998 to 2001. Keith has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. Prior roles include Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance and Government Relations. Keith has worked for both large multinationals such as GlaxoSmithKline, as well as small startup companies in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and England.
Peter Tilley, General Manager Retail Operations
Peter was appointed to his current role in June 2007. Peter has over 20 years experience in retail, with senior management roles in national groups such as Angus & Robertson, Blockbuster Australia/NZ and Guardian Pharmacies. Peter is responsible for the retail operations, store design and construction and retail training of the Amcal Max, Amcal and Guardian branded pharmacies and independent customers.
Jackie Toh, Chief Information Officer and General Manager Wholesaling
Jackie has been with Sigma for over 10 years and has held a variety of management roles, as well as playing a key role in business acquisitions, integration and system implementations. Jackie is responsible for Sigma’s Wholesaling business and for the Information Technology function.
Jeff Sells, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff rejoined Sigma in August 2010 having previously worked for Sigma as Group Treasurer from 2002 to 2004. Prior to rejoining Sigma, Jeff was Chief Financial Officer of Citadel Resources Group Ltd from 2008. Prior to this Jeff was the Chief Financial Officer for Oxiana Limited for 4 years.
Steve Waller, General Manager - Consumer and Medical
Steve joined Sigma in January 2008 after 18 years with the Consumer, Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Groups of Johnson & Johnson. Steve has extensive experience in consumer goods, the prescription and consumer pharmaceuticals industries, and the pharmacy industry, both in Australia and internationally in the US, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Steve is responsible for the Sigma Medical business, and for the Sigma Consumer Pharmaceutical business, including HERRON Pharmaceuticals.
Jackie Pearson, National Human Resources Manager
Jackie commenced with Sigma in August 2005. Prior to joining Sigma, Jackie provided human resource consulting services to a variety of organisations within the private, public and government sectors. Jackie is responsible for Sigma's human resources activities including OH&S, remuneration and benefits, learning and development, employee relations and recruitment.
James Barrie, Manager - Embrace
James commenced with Sigma in 2004, having previously held various roles in a number of large corporates both locally and overseas, most recently in Australia with WMC Resources. Since commencing, he has performed a number of roles, including Group Treasurer and Investor Relations Manager. His current role incorporates ongoing management of the Embrace sales program.
